But for today, I think better TV or better deal is out there for the price. OR for the similar price, look at Samsung LN52B750 which has better dynamic contrast ratio and automotion plus at 240 Hz. Take a look at Samsung LN52A750, same TV with DLNA compatibility and about $500 less with free shipping. Don't get me wrong, I still love this TV. Highly recommended.
Excellent for HD TV and with PS3 for blu ray. A saving of more than $600. However, I am surprised that the price has NOT changed much since last year. I bought this TV in August 2008 and at the time, it was the best 52 in LCD TV for the price. Given the price of the TV, I think other models might be better value.
So for similar price, you can get better features.
The White glove delivery was perfect. The price was a great price, no local electronics store or National chain even came close. He also asked me to examine the TV from top to bottom for any scratches or flaws. The TV has worked flawlessly, the picture quality is fantatstic. I absoluetely love the TV. Also other major web based stores' prices were not as good as Amazon.
I can't say enough good things about the servcie. I waited until I had the TV for almost a month to write a review, so I could ensure I had no problems that might occur. The remote is no where near as bad as some reviews have suggested. The driver brought the TV in to the house, unboxed it, set it up attached cables, turned it on and checked many channels.
There was an issue with the internal components, but Samsung fixed the TV 2 weeks later. I received my TV on the estimated arrival date. I love this TV.
No Joke. I basically said Samsung blows Sony away period thats why Sony purchases Samsung screens to put in their LCD`S. etc. This LCD makes HDTV come alive. Ok I had my Samsung LN52A650 for a year now and this LCD is the bomb baby. I had so many people say how great the picture looks, where did you purchase, why samsung. I told them I purchased it from Amazon because they are fantastic to deal with and they have the best prices around and customer service in return.
At present, it is hooked up to DirecTV and an upconverting DVD player. I'm looking at Blu-ray players now. After much research and comparisons with the Sony (and other) competition, I bought this Samsung TV in May 2009. The picture is absolutely superb on both inputs; the sound is more than adequate for our present needs.
